Policy
2026/2027 CORE DANCE PROGRAMS
At Pemberton Dance Studio, we believe in fostering a supportive and inspiring environment for every dancer. To keep our classes running smoothly, please review the following studio policies.
⸻
Tuition & Billing
• There is a registration fee of $32 due upon sign-up.
• Regular tuition is billed monthly and processed on the 20th of each month, beginning in August and running through May. There are 10 equal payments.
• Tuition reflects enrolment in a full-season progressive program and reserves your dancer’s place in class for the entire season. Our annual calendar includes statutory holidays and school breaks. Tuition is based on participation in the program as a whole and is not calculated on a per-class basis in a certain month. Monthly tuition includes year-end recital costume loan.
• Tuition is non-refundable once processed.
⸻
2. Withdrawal Policy
• Withdrawal from a program requires written notice to pembertondance@outlook.com .
• Notice must be received between the 21st of the previous month and no later than the 10th of the billing month to stop the upcoming charge.
• Example: To withdraw for October, notice must be given between September 21 and October 10.
• If notice is received after the 10th, the current month’s tuition will still be charged and withdrawal will take effect the following month.
⸻
3. Class Schedule & Holidays
• Classes run as scheduled on Pro-D days and school half-days.
• The studio is closed on all statutory holidays and CORE classes do not run during Winter and Spring Break. Tuition is not adjusted for these closures, as they are already factored into the season calendar. Review “Calendar” on our website or in Studio-Pro portal.
⸻
4. Attendance
• Consistent attendance is key to dancer progress and group choreography.
• If a student must miss class, please notify the studio.
• Missed classes are non-refundable.
⸻
5. Uniforms & Dress Code
Wearing the proper uniform helps dancers feel confident, promotes discipline, and ensures teachers can see alignment and technique clearly. Please make sure your dancer arrives dressed and ready for class. Hair should always be secured neatly off the face (ballet students in a bun).
