Every child deserves a place where they feel seen.

A place where they're encouraged to try, celebrated for who they are, and reminded that growth is about so much more than perfect technique.

Every child deserves a place where they feel encouraged to try, supported through challenges, and inspired to discover what they’re capable of.

That belief has guided Pemberton Dance Studio from the very beginning.

When I moved to Canada from Russia in 2007, opening a dance studio was never part of the plan. I was simply beginning a new chapter of my life. Through all the uncertainty of being a lone newcomer and immigrant, dance remained the one thing that always felt close, a place where I could express myself, stay grounded and move forward with purpose.

A few years later, I arrived in Pemberton. What I thought would be an opportunity to teach a few ballet classes became something much more meaningful. Looking back, I realize I wasn’t just sharing my love of dance, I was discovering the kind of community I had always hoped to be part of.

In 2015, Pemberton Dance Studio was born. What began with a handful of dancers has grown alongside the families who have trusted us with their children. In 2025, we proudly opened the doors to our own studio in the heart of downtown Pemberton—a milestone made possible by years of dedication, the support of our community, and a shared belief in the value of dance.

Today, dancers walk through those same doors for many different reasons. Some are taking their very first dance class. Others dream of performing on stage. Some are simply looking for a place where they can learn, grow, and be part of something meaningful.

No matter where their journey begins, our purpose remains the same: to create a place where dancers are challenged with kindness, encouraged to embrace the process, and inspired to approach both dance and life with passion and purpose.

Because while we teach dance, what matters most is helping young people discover that growth comes from showing up, working hard, and believing that every step forward has purpose.

Welcome to Pemberton Dance Studio.

We’d love for your family to be part of our story
